வாழைக்காய் பொடிமாஸ்
This PODI is amazing and super easy to make.*
1/4 cup Tur Dal
2 tsp split Urad dal (this was not part of the original recipe)
4-5 round red chilli without stem
1/2 inch pc hing
Coconut oil 3-4 tbsp
Salt to taste
One full green banana skinned and cubed
Procedure
Heat half the oil in a kadai
Add both hing and the dals and roast till golden brown, remove on to a plate and let it cool.
Add red chilies and roast and remove and cool
Add the remaining oil and add the cubes of green banana and sauté, remove.
In a mixie add the red chilli first and grind in pulse mode.
Add the hing and dals and grind to a coarse powder
Add the sautéed green banana and blend together into a powder
Mix with rice and ghee and enjoy.
